Recap of November 30th Westside 9-12 meeting

At our last meeting we discussed the ongoing effort to find a permanent meeting site and date. A number if venues were discussed and the search continues. In the meantime we will continue to meet at the Green Township library. The food drive for Saturday 12/10 has been canceled. Western Bowl has rented out the parking lot space to sell Christmas Trees.

    We also discussed the recent series of meetings concerning the EPA ruling on the sewer overflow problem. Mike Ruehl attended the second of at least three meetings that are being held to discuss how to deal with the EPA mandate that the city correct the overflow problem in Fairmount in the area around Queen City Avenue. The proposed solution would drastically alter the area, cost untold millions of dollars and will most likely uproot a large amount of people. The project makes mayor Mallory “all tingly”. If that is not concerning enough there is evidence this solution is tied into the United Nation’s Sustainable Development project which is another name for Agenda 21. We have reviewed Agenda 21 previously. I have attached a PDF file that is an excellent overview. Once we start collaborating with the U.N. it is the beginning of the end of our sovereignty as people, as a state and as a nation. Mike reported that there was very little objection to the proposal. When he asked where most of the funding concerning the development not directly related to the sewer issue would come from, he was told that was not the concern of the sewer department. Another meeting will be held in February. We will announce the date and time. These meetings are being conducted to gage public approval of the project. We need people to get informed about this issue and let the city and county know how you feel about it. Jim Fitch has been aware of this from the beginning and has compiled a very good summary that can be found on our blog here.

    The discussion of Agenda 21 led to a discussion on Fabian Socialism. There are a lot of posts on our blog that relate to this issue. Just look at links on the left side of the page and choose the one entitled Fabian Socialism and it will bring up all related posts.

Metropolitan Sewer District of Greater Cincinnati (MSD)

 GlobalConsent Decree Information

The remediation of Combined Sewer Overflows (CSOs) and Sanitary Sewer Overflows (SSOs), and a comprehensive Water-In-Basement (WIB) response program are key components of the Global Consent Decree that the Metropolitan Sewer District of Greater Cincinnati (MSD) has presented to the Board of County Commissioners and the Cincinnati City Council. The Consent Decree was unanimously approved by both Cincinnati City Council and the Board of County Commissioners. On December 4, 2003, the Consent Decree was filed with the United States District Court for the Southern District of Ohio, Western Division, for review and approval.

There are two consent decrees. Both are available from the links at the left side of this page:

Project Groundwork

The plan developed in 2006 to address the Global Decree’s requirements and to implement capacity-based sanitary sewer and CSO issues of the Interim and Global decrees was known as MSD’s Wet Weather Improvement Plan. In 2008, MSD branded this improvement effort as “Project Groundwork.”

Background

In the late 1980’s and 1990’s, the federal government, through the Clean Water Act, called for the elimination of sanitary sewer overflows (SSOs) and a reduction of discharges from combined sewer overflows (CSOs). This action affected every wastewater system in the country, including the Metropolitan Sewer District of Greater Cincinnati (MSD). Increased scrutiny from the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) and U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) brought the issue to the forefront in the late 1990’s as these government bodies began enforcing the ruling in large cities and leveling heavy civil penalties on those out of compliance.

In 1999, MSD, which had already begun addressing the elimination of its SSOs and reducing CSOs, entered into negotiations with the EPA, DOJ, and the State of Ohio to establish a formal remediation program that would be recognized and supported by the government, but also was affordable for local ratepayers. The resulting agreement is called the Consent Decree.
 

  

Community Meetings

As part of the public review process for the Global Consent Decree, the Metropolitan Sewer District of Greater Cincinnati (MSD) hosted several community meetings. At these meetings, MSD provided an overview of the Global Consent Decree and how it will affect MSD customers and our community’s environmental health. Participants had the opportunity to ask questions and offer their comments.

The Lick Run Watershed Community Design Workshop #1

I attended this meeting to see what this was about. It was what they were talking about in the booklet, as shown below, “Sustainable Development or Sustainable Freedom?”. It explains that this Global Consent Decree, uses this meeting as the community “Visioning” process to identify goals for the next phase, with a rigged presentation, to create the illusion of consent and authorization for these projects. This includes the changing of building and zoning codes to UN international standards, in compliance with UN Agenda 21, the usurpation of our Constitutions, and our God-given Rights, starting with property Rights.

The UN conference on Human Settlements (HABITI 1) in 1976 established the UN policy on property rights and the blueprint for comprehensive land use planning. It included “Land… can not be treated as an ordinary asset, controlled by individuals, private land ownership is also a principle instrument of concentration of wealth, therefore social injustice. Public control of land use is therefore indispensable…” This is the Communist way and directly contradicts the principle of private property, our Constitution, and our national sovereignty. The comprehensive planning required by sustainable development is not controlled by the local people, but instead by a coalition of international organizations to implement their vision of how everyone ought to live, as in their book called Agenda 21.

President Bill Clinton imposed that vision on America with an Executive Order and created the President’s Council on Sustainable Development (PCSD) by Executive Order #12852 on June 29, 1993.
 

This Lick Run  meeting was the process by which the governed unknowingly give their consent, by the lack of disagreement or objection. Using their contrived dielectric theory, consensus is sometimes declared despite expressed disagreement. I was the only one disagreeing and objecting verbally in the breakout group sessions I was in. I and maybe some others disagreed in writing, but most people seemed to support this, because they set up the meeting with like-minded people to start with and most people had no idea of the consequences and implications. Some of the options to choose from are to level the whole area and return it back to nature, or eliminating the critical major thoroughfare and replacing it with bike trails. I saw someone next to me mark his paper for that. It might seem like a good idea to a few utopian young Socialist, but it is insane. It  would cause massive traffic grid lock, that would waste time and gas. 

I talked to one of the heads of the project after the meeting and he thought that gas prices should be much higher and we should have mass transit like in Europe. I said should we have the outrageous debt,  high unemployment, riots and burning the place down like in Europe too? Should we have a dictatorship like the E.U. [no elections of EU leaders] ? How about also having the World Wars like the European Socialist?

They plan to have these type of project all over Cincinnati and the areas around Cincinnati. People need to call, write, email, meet in person and find out about  meetings and attend in numbers to counter them claiming consent by lack of objection. They deny that this is part of the UN Agenda 21. This is Command Economics and Command Development, by a central committee, that is what Communist do. That is the opposite of free markets and free enterprise. Since the majority’s voice has been ignored by government, there is no real representation, unless we go out our way to get involved. When complaining and objecting, point out that this is part of the unconstitutional “Global Consent Decree“, this is being deceitfully railroaded though with a rigged process, without the real consent of the people and we absolutely have not reached a consciences, you don’t want building and zoning codes changed to international compliance, that would violate our Rights and be very destructive to the economy. 

These projects are unaffordable, billions of dollars and enact very harmful over-regulations.  While they would have some good aspects, they are unnecessary and harmful over the longer term. This is really about imposing global governance, using the religion of nature worship and social justice [Socialism]. The biggest proponents, are the worst offenders, they just use mean green, to impose red Communism.

appropriate counter-view to what is being taught in school if they disagree with what is being

teachers and administrators to have some say in the curriculum.

Recap of September 19th Westside 9-12 meeting

Here is a recap of our last meeting but first I would like to make you aware that we are trying something different for our next meeting. It is getting harder to schedule meetings at the Green Township library so we are looking for another venue. We are going to try the Perkins restaurant on Westbourne for our meeting on Wednesday October 12th http://cincinnati.citysearch.com/profile/map/602897552/cincinnati_oh/perkins_restaurant_bakery.html. We will meet for dinner at six and the meeting will begin at seven. There is a separate meeting room that we will be located in. Just ask the hostess when you arrive. I am excited about this. It will be a good opportunity to sit down and get to know each other a little better. I realize that it may not be convenient for some to meet for dinner but I encourage you to do so if you can. If you can’t, just show up for the meeting at seven.

    At the last meeting we went over The Declaration of Rights and Responsibilities http://www.glennbeck.com/2011/08/24/declaration-of-rights-responsibilities/.  We need a reliance on Divine Providence to guide us in our daily life.  We need to know the importance of being a moral and virtuous people and demand that are leaders do the same, whichever party they belong to.  They need to step-up or we need to seek out other candidates that believe in our values and principles.
We also discussed ideas to help our community like pre-Thanksgiving and pre-Christmas food drives (advertised in the newspapers and on radio), volunteering at soup kitchens and other charities like Matthew 25 http://www.m25m.org/.  We are considering contacting pastors, preachers, rabbis and priests, to invite their congregations to participate in a 1/2 day seminar that combines the “Principles of Liberty” with a healthy spiritual life and community.  We also discussed finding a new venue that will allow us to advertise (Western Hills Press) a specific day of the month for our meetings, making it easier for our group to grow.
We discussed finding clergy and motivational speakers for an event to inspire us all to get busy in our daily lives and as a group.  Speak words of encouragement, smile at someone who you knows needs a smile today, play a game with your kids, compliment each other, hold a door for someone.  These are hard times for some of us but none of these things cost a dime.
If you are planning to do a “Christmas Jar” this year now the time to get started.  Place your change in the jar, watch it fill up, find a needy person or family and deliver it anonymously, it really does bring the spirit of Christmas to your heart.
